  • Polyethylene/Aluminium/Polyethylene
  • Mic – 45mic LDPE sheeting/16,5mic extrusion LDPE/12mic foil/16,5mic extrusion LDPE/45mic LDPE sheeting = 135mic total
  • Gm2 – 41,5 gm2 LDPE/15 gm2 extrusion LDPE/33 gm2 foil/15 gm2 extrusion LDPE/41,5 gm2 LDPE = 146gm2

The vapour transmission rate is tested in accordance with ASTM E96 and results achieved are as follows:

  • Water Vapour Transmission g/(24h.sq.m) 0,17
  • Water Vapour Permeance g/(24h.sq.m. mmHg) 0,004
  • Water Vapour Permeance g/(s.MN) 0,000
  • Tested in accordance with SABS 952-1985 Clause 5.6
  • Results: 3,25N/mm
